Rare G Plan Teak Extending Dining Table – Mid-Century Danish Style

A striking G Plan dining table from the 1960s/70s that stands apart from G Plan's more typical output — the design reflects Danish-influenced minimalism rather than the brand's usual style. The table was likely produced during the era of G Plan's collaborations with Danish designers such as Ib Kofod-Larsen. Clean architectural lines, softly rounded top corners, and wide, splayed, angled legs give it an understated, minimal presence. The rich, warm teak top showcases beautiful natural grain, offset by the darker stained frame for striking visual contrast. This is an extending table — a central leaf opens the top for extra guests, then closes back down for everyday use. The table comfortably seats six when closed and eight when extended.
