Cast iron door knocker. It is authentic and dates from the 19th century or earlier, already or soon to be bicentennial (except for the wooden part, which is recent). It will stylishly equip the door of your old home or holiday house if you do not want to disfigure it with an electric bell. It can be installed as is or without the wooden part using a screw inside the wooden section. It features a ringed hand holding a sphere. It is in very good condition, folding and unfolding without play or resistance. It only shows signs of its age. Its weight is approximately 1200 grams. It measures about 19.5 cm, or about 13.2 cm without the wooden part and therefore the screw inside it. The lovely rectangular base measures approximately 6 X 4.5 cm. The wooden part has a section of 4 X 3.2 cm with a length of about 6 cm. It is therefore a knocker of beautiful dimensions without taking up too much space. Shipping will be well protected.
