Very beautiful little oil painting on cardboard, signed l.girbal and dated 1944. The title could be "tea time" because it represents a still life with a striped teapot and a flowered teacup. The whole thing is remarkably painted, the reflections of the spoon and a window on the ceramic of the teapot seem truer than life. The fineness of the porcelain of the cup is incredible. It is a very beautiful composition which will be perfect in a contemporary kitchen or in a country house! The frame is made of wood painted in a dark brown.
