Rare Turkish carpet Yahyali

It is with regret that I part with my collection of rugs, particularly this Yahyalı from Central Anatolia. With its rich palette of vibrant colours, it will brighten up your living room or bedroom. Its high-pile knotted points are derived from the millennia-old traditions of the nomadic tribes settled near Kayseri (Caesarea) in Turkey. Era: 1960s-70s. Dimensions 111x191 cm (200 with fringes). Professionally washed using hand-washing techniques that respect the delicate wool fibres and its mostly natural colours. Repaired by the same artisan, Best Craftsman of France 2011. Repairs are subtle, few in number, and not visible to the naked eye. To all bargain hunters: do not waste your time, I will not respond to requests to negotiate outside of this site.
