Pair of chairs model 290 designed by Steen Ostergaard for CADO, 1970.

This is one of the first plastic chairs made in a single piece and from a single material, moulded polyamide. Before opening his own design studio, Ostergaard worked in Finn Juhl's studio, where he contributed to the development of several high-quality solid wood chairs. In 1965, he opened his studio and a few years later, he designed his first product: the CADO 290 chair (1968), which was manufactured by Paul Cadovius in 1970. These CADO chairs are in good condition, showing some signs of use and age on the surface. Original black leather seats. Manufacturer's seal CADO. One pair available.
