Overview. Early edition Panton cantilever chair designed by Verner Panton (design dated 1958–60); execution by Fehlbaum Productions under licence from Hermann Miller, stamped "06/1971". Made in Germany in the 1970s. Design. Space Age icon with a continuous S-profile cantilever silhouette. Single-piece moulded shell forming seat and back in a smooth, uninterrupted line. Stackable construction with stabilising cross braces on the underside. Materials. One-piece moulded polyurethane (PU) shell with a glossy black finish.
