Mario Bellini Set of 4 Cab 412 Dining Chairs for Cassina Italy 1977

Set of 4 cab 412 dining chairs, designed by mario bellini in 1977 for cassina italy. Cab was the first freestanding designer chair made of cowhide, inspired by the relationship between the skeleton and the skin. The upholstery consists of 21 parts of cowhide leather that undergo a lengthy manual processing process. The covering is sewn and attached by hand to the stell skeleton and closed with a zipper, just like a truly custom-made garment. This set is upholstered in a beautiful brick red leather. They are made in the 1990s. The chairs are in good original condition. Some normal traces of wear due to time and usage. No damages.
