Philippe Starck Set of 4 Bob Dubois Dining Chairs for Driade Aleph Italy 1987

Set of 4 bob dubois dining chairs, designed by philippe starck in 1987 for driade aleph italy. The chairs were in production from 1987 till 1993 and only made in small numbers. Therefore this model is not offered a lot. One chair still has the original aleph lable underneath the seat. The chairs have a solid cherry wood structure, a cherry plywood backrest and a straw seat. Like some other models by philippe starck the bob dubois chair reflects the desire to return to nature and tradition. The chairs are in very good original condition. One chair has 2 small repaired damages at the bottom back side of the rear legs, as visible in the last picture. Furthermore perfect.
