Rosewood secretary with pull-out writing surface, four large drawers, six small upper drawers and internal mirror. Danish production, 1950s/1960s. Made in Denmark during the 1950s/1960s, this secretary is distinguished by the rich grain of the rosewood and its compact structure raised on tapered legs. The pull-out writing surface opens onto an upper section arranged with six small drawers, a central compartment with an adjustable mirror and a long open shelf. The lower section houses four large drawers, distinguished by shaped wooden handles echoed on a smaller scale by those above. This particularly articulated configuration reflects the attention given in Danish furniture of the period to combining writing, storage and small accessories within a single piece. Good condition.
