20th century Italian artwork, a countryside view with figures

Mid-20th-century Italian painting. An oil-on-panel work depicting a countryside view (inscribed on the back as the surroundings of Frabosa) featuring figures, executed with a skilled hand. This modestly sized painting is signed "M. Gachet" at the bottom right (see photo)—attributable to the painter Mario Gachet (1879–1981)—though it lacks a certificate of authenticity. A luminous, horizontally oriented painting suitable for antique dealers and collectors. The panel shows some signs of age and minor paint loss (see photos). Overall, the painting is in fair condition.
