Nice soft egg set including 6 shellfish and a matching limoges porcelain tray. Decorated with small pink, orange and purple flowers. Vibrant colors of french blue as well as several golden edging on the outside and inside of the shells. The golden inner borders of the shells and the tray are finely worked. Stamped limoges unique. Limoges porcelain was born, between 1765 and 1770, from the discovery of kaolin near limoges in france: this material is essential for the production of this hard and translucent ceramic.
