Set of 4 antique porcelain egg cups, Pillivuyt & Cie, circa 1900

Elegant set of four egg cups in fine white porcelain, decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs in shades of blue, green, and brown. Each piece is finely fluted and enhanced with a blue border highlighting the edges, characteristic of the refined work of the house of Ch. Pillivuyt & Cie, a Parisian manufacturer awarded a Grand Prix at the 1900 Universal Exhibition, as mentioned on the stamp under the base. The egg cups have a very harmonious double gadrooned shape, allowing for excellent stability. They each measure approximately 4.5 cm high and 5 cm in diameter. The overall condition is excellent for pieces over a century old: no chips or cracks, some slight signs of use on the interior enamel, consistent with their age. Perfect for a refined table or a collection of antique tableware.
