Low buffet / Art Deco sideboard (1930s) revamped in Folk / Bohemian style.

For sale is an authentic low Art Deco sideboard (1930-1940) made of oak, which has undergone a careful artistic makeover giving it a folk, bohemian look full of character and very contemporary. This oak sideboard will find its place in a vintage or bohemian chic interior. • Characteristics and cabinetry: Structure and wood: Period piece made of solid oak and oak veneer. The interior and exterior remain raw, revealing clean, healthy wood that is perfectly preserved. • Original workshop mark: The back panel features period handwritten chalk markings (manufacture number 1743 and initials of the workshop assembler) guaranteeing its authenticity from the interwar period. • Art Deco design: Typical geometric lines of the period with central fan-shaped uprights, sculpted wooden handles, and a solid stepped base. • Custom decoration: Polychrome finish combining bright ochre yellow and fir green fillets. The top surface is adorned with a beautiful bouquet of stylised flowers hand-painted, complemented by scroll decorations in the corners of the doors. Original interior layout (very good condition). • Left side: An original fully compartmentalised drawer lined with original green felt, ideal for storing cutlery or silverware. • Right side: A raw wood storage drawer. • Lower part: Large oak shelf closed by 2 doors.
