Large hollow candlestick in glazed terracotta from Tamegroute, Morocco, a relatively vintage production from the early years. It features an elongated silhouette shaped like a screw, sculptural, enhanced by a beautiful glaze with deep greens, browns, and blacks, showcasing the drips and irregularities characteristic of this type of craftsmanship. Handcrafted, it comes from the traditional know-how of the potters in the DrĂ¢a Valley. Approximately 14-15 cm in diameter at the base, 55.5 cm tall. 5 cm diameter at the top opening. In very good overall condition, with a small discreet chip at the bottom on one side and a slightly larger but still discreet chip a bit higher up, as well as a few chips under the original foot that are invisible. There is also a slight original white speckling on one side, along with the firing and glazing irregularities typical of this artisanal production. Weighs 5 kg.
