Vintage stained glass wall lamp from the 1970s. Geometric shapes, subtle colour nuances and artisanal glasswork come together in this special wall lamp from the 1970s. The design consists of several glass panels that appear to emerge from the wall like a stylised flower or architectural relief. The construction has clear influences from the Art Deco period, translated into the design language of the 1970s. The various panels are made of marbled glass in soft green-blue and white tones. Due to the natural pattern in the glass, no panel is exactly the same. The fine lead lines hold the design together and at the same time emphasise the strict geometry of the shape. When the lamp is switched on, a warm, even light is created. The semi-transparent glass softens the light, creating an atmospheric glow around the lamp. As a result, this wall lamp functions not only as lighting but also as a decorative object on the wall. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and technically checked by us. It is in very good condition and can be used immediately. Bij de Tijd selects objects based on shape, use of materials and appearance. This wall lamp stands out because of the combination of artisanal glasswork, sculptural design and a light image that changes throughout the day.
