Isn't this glazing wonderful. For me, this glazing in speckled tones of black, milky grey, and touches of chocolate is undoubtedly the most successful and interesting of those offered by the Atch workshop. I imagine it is a large cup, a mug, but it could also serve as a vase or simply complement a ceramic collection. It has a simple and elegant shape. This ceramic is the work of Chantal and Thierry Robert, who worked in their workshop "Les grès du Loir" in Poncé sur Loire from 1973. It is a very beautiful piece of craftsmanship, both in terms of turning and glazing. Their signature or monogram has evolved over time, ultimately signing Atch with a stamp (for Atelier of Thierry and Chantal). On this ceramic, the signature is still done by hand but already includes the A of Atch (atelier) alongside the C of Chantal and the T of Thierry, with the h common to both names. It likely dates from the second half of the 1970s. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even a scratch. It measures 12 cm in height and 7.5 cm in maximum diameter.
