Enameled cup - roger collet - vallauris - 1960s red earth from vallauris enameled and wheel decoration on the lower part. Wood firing signature 'collet' under the base. Very good condition. Slight coloring or firing defect in the bottom of the cup. Very decorative, can be used as a cup, small cache pot, candle pot etc. Dimensions: height: 9.5cm diameter: 8cm weight: 205gr roger collet is a swiss artist (1933 - 2003) born in lausanne. He graduated from the chavannes-rennes ceramics school. He arrived in vallauris in 1956 and opened his own workshop in 1966 after working for ten years for various ceramists such as fernande kohler, robert pérot and roger capron. He first worked the earth of vallauris then in 1972 he bought a stoneware kiln and refined his production using stoneware and porcelain.
