Louis Ferdinand MALESPINA (1874 – 1940) aquatint depicting a harness racing event at the Vincennes racetrack in Paris. Artist's signature at the bottom right. Protected by glass and surrounded by a simple wooden frame. Good condition. Paris – famous racetrack, built in 1863 and restored/reconstructed in 1879 after the Franco-Prussian War. In 1934, it was dedicated to harness racing, as shown in this work. The Prix d'Amérique took place there in 1920. Dimensions: Height 70cm x Width 94cm x Depth 2.5cm.
