Attributed to Thonet, made in Vienna around 1900 (vignette/attribution mark noted). Materials. Steam-bent beech wood, stained dark brown/black to an even patina. Openwork bentwood construction with continuous curved strips forming vertical bays. Construction. Compact, lightweight silhouette raised on four short feet. Slender rounded bentwood elements create internal dividers for organising papers and magazines. Dimensions. Width: 52 cm. Depth: 45 cm. Height: 50 cm.
