Roland zobel (1915-2006) is a french ceramist. After studying at the beaux-arts in bourges and at the international school of ceramics in faenza, italy, roland zobel (1915-2006) settled in the cévennes, in anduze, a town with a great pottery tradition. His studio, les cyclades, is the scene of the creation of his terracotta pieces in the 1950s. Rare ceramic plaque with a lion's head, emblematic of zobel's works.
