Decorative ceramic plate with griffins

This beautiful vintage decorative plate is a Spanish Zorrilla (intaglio stamp) ceramic, circa 1960. It is painted in bright colors with mythical creatures or griffins, a central basket, acanthus leaves, and a raised floral outline (as seen in the close-up photos). Pascual Zorrilla pottery comes from Manises, near Valencia in Spain, home to a long tradition of ceramic production.
