Antique large triptych barber's mirror in nickel-plated metal and black faux crocodile leather, circa 1930, in good condition. Weighing 3 kg, this is a rare Art Deco model in this size with beveled glass. The glass is clean and intact. We love the rounded bevels at each corner. Note that the silvering on the mirrors is faded, particularly on the middle mirror, as can be seen in the photos. Similarly, we can make out letters written in the silvering (3 letters precisely) in the lower right corner of the central mirror: 7ME. It's impossible to know what they correspond to. This piece would be perfect for a shabby chic or farmhouse style decor, or for adding a retro touch to a hair salon or barbershop. The black faux crocodile leather back is intact and slightly worn in places. The frame and chain are still present. Each panel measures 33 X 27 cm, and the entire piece, when unfolded, measures 33 X 84 cm. By choosing this vintage item, you're giving a second life to a treasure from the past. Thank you for combining sustainable decor, history, and a gesture for the planet.
