Armchair No. 221 by Thonet in the "bronze" version, a proven model from around 1900, is a luxurious armchair that moves away from bistro models while maintaining strength and lightness. Beautiful seven-branch palmette in cut plywood. Capitals at the top of the front legs. This model is presented here with the "bronze engraving" option on an overall American mahogany hue. See detail photos. In very good original condition, produced in 1905, with a typical hue of that era "mahogany". New manual caning with six strands (2.4X2.2 mm).
