French Leather Safari Armchairs Mid-Century

Rare pair of mid century tooled leather safari chairs. French made, circa 1950s. Dark brown leather, artfully tooled in ancient symbols, supported by solid oak frames. Has tilted backrests and leather straps with brass rivets. Rare french bed bolt joints, which will completely dismantle for easy transport. Easy to assemble/dismantle as each joint is marked with corresponding roman numerals. Both chairs in very good vintage condition, with some wear consistent with age. There are several visible scuff marks, including an old repair behind one of the backrests. This does not detract from its use and charm. The leather remains in great condition.
