Italian chrome and Murano glass Mazzega flush mount ceiling light.

This ceiling light was most likely made by Mazzega in the 1970s and represents Italian mid-century modern design at its finest. The shades are typical for Mazzega productions from that period. The lamp features a high-quality chrome-plated steel structure combined with three hand-blown Murano glass lampshades in milky white “Lattimo” glass. The overall height is 25 cm, and diameter is 36 cm. The softly rounded shades showcase a distinctive organic form typical of Italian lighting from the era. Lattimo glass is a traditional Murano glass technique, named after the Italian word latte (“milk”), known for its elegant, opaline finish and warm light diffusion. The lamp is designed as a flush-mount ceiling light, making it ideal for interiors with lower ceilings while still providing a strong decorative presence. It works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, or dining areas. The piece is in excellent vintage condition and fully functional, with minor signs of age consistent with its age.
