Double-sided peacock feathered eventail

Period: probably 1920-1950. It is the ultimate decorative piece. A double-sided fan of this size is quite rare. The feathers are arranged in such a way as to form a double circle of eyes and a central flower-shaped pattern composed of eyes. The luminous coloration of the eyes is even more highlighted thanks to the coppery hue of the rest of the feathers. I thought the copper color could be tinted, but by researching different species, feather treatments, and looking at hundreds of photos, I came to the conclusion that it's very natural. The feathers are attached to an internal reed mat, and the handle is also composed of these reeds bound with string. This range cannot be sold/sent across eu borders due to cites regulations. State: Ok. The feathers all seem to be present although some are a little ruffled. The handle is no longer very securely attached and the new owner might want to strengthen it with more string.
