Water jug

An emblematic object of the mediterranean regions, particularly the south of france and especially spain (botijo in spanish), the gargoulette is a terracotta jug that was very useful to farmers. It was used to store water and especially to keep it cool for hours! On either side of the handle used to transport it, there is a filler neck and a narrow spout that pours the water in a thin stream, which allows you to "drink à la régalade", that is to say without bringing the container to your mouth.
