Brutalist oak table by De Puydt, Belgium 1970

Very beautiful solid oak dining table from the 1970s by the Belgian furniture maker De Puydt. We love the very thick top and the uniquely shaped legs, enhanced by beautiful low cutouts. Their airy appearance, slightly tapered, with rounded shapes adds a very interesting graphic touch. The wood grain and its colour are very beautiful; the oak has an original patina that contributes to its authenticity. The slightly textured surface (which remains very smooth to the touch) of the oak gives the whole piece an incredible charm. The base is securely attached to the top, reinforced by metal bars underneath, showcasing quality craftsmanship. In very good overall condition, with original patina; some defects or small marks may be visible in places due to its age.
