Asparagus dish in slip Bassano Italy

This pretty compartmentalized slip dish representing rather realistic asparagus in relief can of course be used to present asparagus and mayonnaise and that's a good thing, the season is about to begin! But it can also find many other uses: pocket tray in the entrance, spoon rest in the kitchen, appetizer display at the aperitif... As the hollow stamp below indicates, it has been made in the bassano region in italy by the a zeta factory. It dates from the 70s. It is in good general condition, no cracks or chips but does not hide some signs of its age: cracks on the enameling, two or three small chips in the dish on the reliefs. It measures 24 cm by 18 cm for a height of 3 cm.
