Asparagus set: 2 plates + asparagus dish in antique earthenware

This superb asparagus set is made of antique molded earthenware. The set comprises two asparagus plates and a large platter. They are decorated with asparagus in relief, in a trompe-l'œil style. The back of the platter is a lovely powder pink. This earthenware asparagus service is unmarked, perhaps from St. Clément or Niderviller ceramics. In good overall condition, the platter measures 24.5 cm x 39.5 cm. The plates are 24.5 cm square. There are some minor scratches from use.
