Set of 6 No. 214 chairs by Michael Thonet for Thonet, 1980s

Chair no. 214 was designed in 1859 by michael thonet as chair no. 14 and is also known as the bistro chair. The chairs feature a brown bentwood frame and a rattan seat. This set consists of 4 no. 214 r chairs and 2 no. 214 rf chairs (with armrests). 214 r: heigth 87 cm, width 42 cm, depth 53 cm, seat height 47 cm. 214 rf: heigth 85 cm, width 55 cm, depth 55 cm, seat height 47 cm. The 214 r chairs were produced in 1981, the 214 rf chairs in 1982. In good condition. 5 of the 6 chairs have new rattan seats.
