Antique decorative plate in Chinese porcelain – gilding & polychrome decoration

Magnificent Asian decorative plate, made of Chinese export porcelain (late 19th – early 20th century), richly decorated with polychrome foliage and relief gilding. The scalloped shape with openwork handles and the red border enhanced with gold give it a lot of elegance. On the reverse, there is a painted mark in Chinese characters, typical of export productions intended for the European market. The plate has three small losses on the border (clearly visible in the photos). There is slight wear to the gilding in places, consistent with the age of the piece. No structural cracks. Defects taken into account in the price. 📏 Dimensions: – Diameter: 26 cm. – Height: 5 cm. – Weight: 550 g.
