Antique ironstone plate from Gien with a blue decoration of doves and floral bouquets on an ivory background. Beautiful scalloped shape adorned with reliefs and a blue intertwined monogram from Gien on the reverse. Estimated period around 1920-1930. Dimensions: Ø 27 cm – Height: 2.5 cm – Weight: 650 g. Condition: lovely old crazing of the glaze and some marks and scratches related to use. Two chips are visible on the edge, one of which extends into a slight crack. These marks remain quite discreet overall and are visible in the photographs. Usage: given its age and the condition of the glaze, this plate is sold primarily as a decorative piece, and its use for food is not recommended.
