Table lamp from the early 1950s with a unique and sculptural design. Its base, shaped like a sphere in brass, is adorned with points, creating an almost "spatial" foundation, typical of the post-war atomic aesthetic. From this base emerge three curved black arms, each ending in a socket embellished with a delicate floral detail in brass. The original pleated peach plastic shades attach directly to the bulbs. Their warm hue diffuses a soft and enveloping light, contrasting with the graphic and almost brutal strength of the base. The whole evokes Italian work from the 1950s, in a spirit akin to certain creations by Jacques Hittier or Jacques Adnet, although the designer remains unidentified. A rare piece on the market, with a strong decorative presence. Dimensions: 43 cm in height, approximately 28 cm in diameter. Very good overall condition.
