Vintage Midcentury Modern Italian Design Plywood Side Chairs attributed to Carlo Ratti for Legni Curvati. Made in Italy, 1950s period. This is a set of 3 chairs. The plywood veneer chairs feature a palisander-like appearance with black matte lacquered metal bases on round movable feet. The wood veneer has been slightly refinished. The plywood seats remain in good condition, although the bent wood has lost about 50% of its tension, resulting in a more flexible, less sturdy structure for everyday use. These chairs can still be used as side chairs due to their attractive design and appearance. Note: one chair has a minor break in one of its front legs, which does not impact sturdiness when sitting on it. Dimensions for each chair are 88 cm (height) X 39 cm (width) X 50 cm (depth). Sold as a set of three chairs. Please note that items made of rosewood are subject to a special export process that may extend delivery time by 2 to 4 weeks.
