Vintage table lamp in patinated bronze with lion decor, 1950s.

Vintage table lamp in solid cast bronze with a dark patina, probably Italian, dating from the 1950s. The base consists of three crouching lions arranged around a twisted central shaft, forming a very sculptural vertical structure. The upper part is adorned with three goat heads and a bunch of grapes, in a decorative vocabulary inspired by classical and animal motifs. The whole evokes the taste of the Napoléon III period, with a dense and assertive decorative presence. A compact yet visually strong piece, suitable for an interior with antique wood, stone, or natural materials, or as a contrast in a more contemporary decor. In good vintage condition. Signs of use consistent with age. Electricity present, to be adapted if necessary.
