Finnish 20th century modern long pile rug. 160 X 110 cm (63 X 43 in). Long pile/shag (ryijy) technique, wool on wool. Reseda by laila seppä - Abstracted floral pattern, the understated monochrome color palette in earth tones is knotted on a light turquoise base - really cozy, imo. Hand-knotted in finland, 4th quarter of 20th century.
