8 October 2026 at 01: 25. P128 armchair in leather — Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno. Italy, 1960s/70s. An iconic piece of Italian design, this superb P128 armchair was designed by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, an Italian company founded by Borsani and his brother Fulgenzio. The P128 model has been documented since 1966 and is part of the designer's significant creations for Tecno. Fully upholstered in leather, this armchair captivates with its particularly elegant and sculptural silhouette. Its generously curved backrest and seat naturally embrace the body's shapes, while the tufted details and buttons add a beautiful sophistication to the whole. The armchair rests on a spectacular five-pointed star base in chrome metal, giving it a very graphic look and remarkable presence. Rotating 360°, the P128 functions equally well as a lounge chair, reading chair, office chair, or a statement piece in a contemporary interior. Its timeless design allows it to integrate seamlessly into both mid-century or vintage decor as well as contemporary, minimalist, or more sophisticated interiors. Restored in the workshops of Maison Louis 24. We prioritise an eco-responsible approach to reuse and restoration, giving new life to existing furniture rather than promoting its replacement. The armchair is now presented in excellent condition, ready to find its place in a new interior.
