Large Pyrite Stoneware Soup Tureen

Magnificent oval piece in pyrite-glazed stoneware, typical of the 70s/80s, with a character that is both raw and elegant. Made from speckled stoneware with iron pyrites (natural brown specks) and a satin cream/light grey glaze, it stands out with its large central medallion in rust and sienna tones, highlighted by deep brown glazed edges. Its two side handles shaped like "ears" and its raw base enhance its artisanal authenticity. Ideal as a retro soup tureen, large salad bowl, or repurposed as a plant pot/window box for a bohemian or brutalist decor. 30 cm in length, 20 cm in height, 18 cm in depth.
