Fisherman table

Very beautiful old painting (oil on canvas) representing a charming bucolic scene: a young boy in profile, wearing a cap, admiring his catch at the end of his fishing line. The work is signed by the regional artist R. Denis, using the pseudonym "Den". The original inscriptions on the back indicate his studio located in Argentat (Corrèze). The painting features lovely shades of warm colours and a beautiful texture. It is sold in its original gilded wooden frame, which perfectly highlights the work. Total dimensions with the frame: 75 cm × 59 cm. Overall good condition (canvas well-stretched, original frame with a very nice patina).
