Old peasant with a hat painting

This old oil on panel has been reframed (not nailed but simply taped in case the buyer wishes to change it). There are minor defects on the painting such as cracks and roughness on the varnished panel (please look closely at the details in the photo). This peasant with an enigmatic smile and a gentle, mischievous gaze is absolutely charming. Soft and subtle colours and an original format due to its vertical shape. H65 x W43cm. Panel: H50 x W27cm.
