Vintage IKEA bookcase highboard Marian Grabinski mid-century

Large highboard made of oak wood, designed by Marian Grabinski for IKEA. The clear, straight design and varied layout give the piece a special character. The light, golden-yellow wood tone with its lively grain creates a friendly, open effect in the room. The different compartment sizes and the narrow vertical dividers on the right side shape the appearance. The open upper part rests on a wider base with a slim wooden frame. The upper area offers several shelves for books and decorations as well as specially divided compartments for storing records. Three small drawers with curved recessed handles on the left side are lined with green felt inside. Two wide drawers in the lower area add to the storage space. With its careful workmanship and many thoughtful details, this highboard shows how high-quality IKEA furniture used to be made. The overall condition is very good with minor age-related signs of use on the surfaces. There are a few signs of use on the top, which are not really noticeable due to the height.
