Former Saint Hubert sideboard

Very old two-door/two-drawer sideboard, topped with shelves, all in walnut. Drawers with dovetail joints and wooden pendant handles. Two hinged doors with ebonized wood frames and round wooden handles. Shelves and back panel in varnished solid wood. Louis Philippe style legs. The upper section consists of two shelves surmounted by a carved pediment; attractive floral motifs, carved acanthus leaves, and reliefs and scrolls in ebonized wood. Superb Saint Hubert style walnut sideboard from the late 19th century, in very good overall condition. Note a few scattered woodworm holes and two small chips on the front left leg. The drawer interiors and shelves have been sanded and varnished with a clear varnish. The tabletop and shelves show signs of wear, including stains and minor imperfections that highlight the natural patina. The piece is fully treated and finished with wax. The upper section can be disassembled for easier delivery. Tabletop height: 112 cm. Drawer interior dimensions: 52 X 43 X 10 cm.
