Attractive bedside table, known as Somno, made of solid walnut from the Napoleonic III period, dating from the third quarter of the 19th century. It features the sober and elegant decorative vocabulary characteristic of French bourgeois furniture from this period. It opens at the front with a belt drawer adorned with a round turned wooden knob, and a door with a central panel showcasing beautiful natural flame veining, also equipped with a wooden knob. The grey veined marble top gives this antique bedside table its authentic character and discreet charm. The base consists of four finely turned, tapered legs that are light and slender, typical of the Napoleonic III style. A piece of character, both functional and decorative, that will fit well in both an antique interior and a contemporary bedroom seeking a touch of French vintage.
