Discover this magnificent rare engraving featuring the warbler and the moorhen ⭐ this plate, over 180 years old, a document full of history, was published in paris in 1839 in a natural history encyclopedia. ⭐ the work, hand-colored at the time with the greatest care, combines the beauty of nature with scientific accuracy ⭐ this lithograph, measuring 18 X 28.5 cm, is enhanced by cream-colored paper and extremely detailed printing thanks to the steel engraving process. ⭐ this illustration is a superb zoological piece down to its colors and details ⭐ it is taken from a work by fe guerin-meneville and illustrated by a. Fries, a natural history engraver and watercolorist. ⭐ the engraving is in very good condition, note small defects inherent to time, binding and the nature of the paper, especially in the left margin.
