Beautiful antique wedgwood teacup and saucer dating back to 1890's - 1900's. Rare pattern. Powder blue with a rich neoclassical rosette gold trim. Powder blue finish was labor intensive and required skilled hand application with extremely fine sponge and overlaying dots. Both pieces marked with brown urn wedgwood mark. Very good condition with no cracks, chips or crazing and almost no wear to the gold trim. There are few speckles of blue glaze inside the cup and few gold smudges on the outside, both happened during manufacturing process. Dark staining on the bottom of the cup. Dimensions: Saucer diameter: 13.8cm (5.4in) Cup diameter: 8.8cm (3.5in) Cup height: 5.8cm (2.3in) Please bear in mind that the actual color of the item might be slightly different than shown in the photos due to variations in monitor and browser settings.
