Ceramic Art Table Lamp by Bjørn Wiinblad for Rosenthal Studio-Line, 1960s

This fine table lamp was designed by the Danish artist, ceramicist and illustrator Bjørn Wiinblad. It was manufactured in West-Germany by Rosenthal Studio-Line during the 1960s. Wiinblad created several high-quality objects for Rosenthal during that period. The multicoloured base is made from hand-coloured glazed ceramic. The lamp features a lampshade which consists of an inner funnel-shaped white plastic reflector which carries the outer red lampshade in red fabric. Additional measurements. Ceramic base diameter: 22 cm. Ceramic base height without lamp shade: 32 cm. Lamp shade diameter: 37 cm. This piece is in very good original condition, it shows only slight traces of use, slight dent to lampshade, slight fading of colour. This table light is in working order.
