Large green jug – 1960s

Large vintage emerald green glass jug, notable for its relief decoration featuring clusters of grapes, leaves, and fruit motifs. The thick glass has a beautiful depth of colour and captures light particularly well. The large handle and generous proportions enhance its decorative character. The aesthetic and type of glassware evoke the Italian productions of Empoli from the 1960s-1970s. In the absence of a signature or label, this attribution remains cautious. It can be used as a jug for water, juice, or lemonade, but will also easily find its place as a decorative vase. Dimensions: H 24.5 cm · neck diameter 9 cm · base diameter 12 cm · width with handle 15.5 cm. Dating: circa 1960–1970. The glass has a bubble/inclusion in the material, visible on the upper edge.
