Founded in 1805 in choisy by the three paillart brothers, the earthenware factory was taken over in 1836 by hippolyte hautin who joined forces with louis boulenger. It was one of the latter's descendants, hippolyte, who took over the activity in 1863, renaming it "h. Boulenger & cie" in 1863. He transformed the local earthenware factory into a leading industrial company at the national level: the manufacture of choisy earthenware received several official awards at the universal exhibitions. Until its final closure in 1934, the earthenware factory was the main center of choisy's influence. Good general condition with normal signs of wear. For lovers of old-fashioned tableware.
