Vintage rosewood bedside table by NF, circa 1960s

A vintage mid-century modern bedside table, circa 1960s. This beautiful bedside table, with its unusual design, is made of rosewood veneer and lacquer (see photo). It rests on tapered black wooden legs, elegantly finished with brass ferrules. The two side panels, slightly higher than the top, feature an arrow motif on the front. The curved drawer, fully functional (dimensions: H 6 cm X W 51.5 cm X D 21 cm), has a brass handle (see photos). This bedside table is in good original and vintage condition, with some marks and micro-scratches on the top consistent with age and use. There is a small area of missing veneer on the upper rear edge (see photos next to a 1-cent coin for perspective), as well as a mark on the arrowhead in the upper left corner of the side panel (see photo). A small mark is also visible on the lower molding, in the middle, below the drawer (see photo). Slight signs of wear and age are present on the legs (see photos), and the overall structure has a beautiful patina. This piece of furniture is solid, stable, and heavy. A maker's mark is visible inside the drawer. All photos were taken in natural outdoor light. Colors may therefore vary depending on the lighting, viewing angle, and perspective.
